Today my comic "the Bunny Murders" was picked as one of 50 finalists for Platinum Studio's comic book challenge! The contest is a series of three elimination rounds, and the winner gets some sweet prizes, as well as a book deal for the comic. The next step is for me to create a video pitch of my idea that will be submitted by the end of July. If my video pitch gets picked, from that point the winner is decided by web-votes.
I feel strangely ambivalent about actually winning, because I doubt I would be able to return to school like I planned and complete the graphic novel at the same time, but I guess that would be counting my eggs before they hatch and grow into little chickens.
Cheers,
